Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

Again, the worst organization in sports does it again. And I mean worst. On any level. Pro, college, football, baseball, basketball...the suck is just astounding.
They have supplanted Donald Sterling's Clippers as the worst modern franchise ever. Maybe more batshit stuff happened out in LaLa land, but the god awful suck, combined with returning immediately to god awful suck after poking their heads slightly out of god awful suck, has been even more consistent year in and year out here.

And to think, this mountain of donkey suck has wasted at least 2 (Joe Thomas, Garrett) and possibly 4 (Alex Mack, Bitonio) HOF careers with nearly 30 years of returning to the suck mean every time they veer from it is criminal.

The few Watson defenders left always point out "well if he was ballin' out y'all wouldn't care about his off field stuff". And you know what? I'll readily concede that, to a point. If he had taken the Browns to the last 2 AFC Championship games, there would be a significant portion of the fanbase (most) who would readily overlook his attitude and the massages. Fine. But if that's your angle...you'd better produce. Hard.

In my field, we don't have a lot of massage parlor regulars, but we do have arrogant, condescending assholes. And you can be that way...if you produce. But when you hit a rough patch, as nearly everyone does at one time or another...all of a sudden they look at you and say "well, you're not producing like you were...and you're an arrogant condescending asshole on top of that too." And their response is usually along the lines of "But I was an arrogant condescending asshole before and you never cared!" Moral of the story is...if you're going to be a piece of shit human, you'd better be that much more worth it, or you're getting zero benefit of the doubt when you want/need it. And that's true for any field.
