going to be interesting. With coaches being fired at mid-season by preseason top ten schools, won't there be a rush to name your new coach before December?
who do I want?Who are you guys going to get then?
More importantly, I don’t think it’d be good for him. That’s a tough job competing against OSU and ND for Midwest recruits. Throw in the lack of experience/success of proving you can run a high potency offense, I just think it’ll be a tough sell for a kid from South Florida Express to go to Happy Valley.I most sincerely hope so
See above. If he has to fly the coop, just don't let it be Penn State. That would not be good for us.
I think Lane stays in Oxford
So you think Lane goes to LSU
You appear to be the leading candidate for a Nostradomus Award. The teaching moment here for me is that when you have a $50 million train wreck head coach hire, you fire the AD who made that mistake first, then let the new AD hire the next head coach.

Why should LSU AD Scott Woodward -- responsible for 2 historic buyouts -- get to make next hire?
Woodward has brokered deals that led to the two biggest coach contract buyouts in college football history. Can he show restraint this time around?www.cbssports.com
I've heard personal stories and he's been an asshole for awhile
he'll end up at Florida
that's actually a pretty good fit
he'll end up at FloridaI'm seeing the Missouri coach's name a lot for all the open jobs (Drinkwitz)
that's actually a pretty good fitLooks like Franklin is heavily favored/rumored to Va Tech
I most sincerely hope soI'd say the past 6 months should be an excellent reason to not put much stock in the PSU projections game.
See above. If he has to fly the coop, just don't let it be Penn State. That would not be good for us.I think Hartline takes a HC job this offseason, but I don’t think it’s Penn State.
He has GREAT relationships in South Florida from recruiting but also his time with the Dolphins.
I really don’t want to see him go (…hell, I wanted him as OSU HC and to let Day go prior to running the table in CFP).
I think he lands a job in the southeast that will play to his strengths of recruiting South Florida talent. JMO.
