Urban F. Meyer (3x National Champion, CFB HOF)

Urban Meyer reveals how he violated a 'Gentleman's Agreement' between Big Ten coaches upon arriving at Ohio State

However, his initial start at Ohio State required a bit of an adjustment. Coming from Florida and the SEC, where everything was hyper-competitive and cutthroat, Meyer had never experienced an honor-based system.

He detailed how an unspoken rule created a mini feud with then-Wisconsin head coach Brett Bielema.

“I leave the SEC, and I come to Ohio State, and there was something called a ‘gentleman’s agreement.'” And Coach Bielema got really pissed off at me when we turned a couple of players. And, you know, I didn’t know about a gentleman’s agreement. I’m not sure what that means. In recruiting, you’ve got to go get players. We had two kids from Ohio committed to Wisconsin, and we got them. We flipped them. And people were saying, Well, in this conference you don’t do that. And I was like, I had not seen that anywhere in my contract,” Meyer said....

Bielema and Wisconsin eventually alleged that Meyer and the Buckeyes got too involved and committed serious infractions. Former NFL players contacted high school recruits, even during a dead period, but the program wasn't necessarily linked.

Meyer was never found guilty on a bigger level, and at least with this issue, only broke this baseball-like rule. Bielema never went too in depth on the manner, but did at least confirm he wasn't thrilled with Meyer's approach.

"I wasn’t upset with Urban because of a gentleman’s agreement. It was something else that I don’t want to get into. I told him what I knew, and he said he would take care of it, and he did,” Bielema said.

WR Mylan Graham (National Champion)

go 4-wide a few times and let him just wreck underneath, Teams literally will not be able to run tw safeties close to the LOS with Smith and Tate.
The thought of that group in a 4-wide makes me chuckle. The fun they could have with different formations of the four of them just to fuck with opposing DCs is also good stuff.

Almost every single job in corporate America has a hard ceiling without a degree. Social work. Art history. Whatever. 20 years of experience in leadership in the industry doesn't matter a bit. You have to have a degree to prove...idk what. Not sure where im going with this. Kinda zurped out a little.
See, if you had a degree in English Literature, you would have been able to come up with a more elegant ending to finish your post... With... I mean with which to finish your post.

WR Michael Jenkins (All B1G, National Champion)

I will state to the end of my days that his record for yards with the QB's he had throwing, in the era that he played in is one of the most impressive records you will ever find.

Was recently watching 02 and 03 season games, and while Krenzel was a lot of great things, accurate and consistent passer was not among them.

Always thought Jenkins shoud’ve had a better career, but he ended up with more career yards than I remember and played for 9 years.

Liverpool and Portugal forward Diogo Jota and his brother, André Silva, were killed in a car crash near Zamora, Spain, police said Thursday.
Liverpool FC, Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro and the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) also confirmed the incident.
The Spanish Civil Guard confirmed to The Associated Press that Jota and his brother were found dead after their car went off a road on an isolated stretch of highway about an hour west of Zamora. Authorities said the car -- a Lamborghini, according to police -- was in flames.
Firefighters were called in as the fire spread to nearby vegetation, authorities said.

Winfield was fearless. Still mad at Urban for not offering his kid who turned out to be a stud.

I was also a big Nate Clements fan when he was a Buckeye.

That 1998 secondary was so good, freshman Nate Clements was the nickel back.

IIRC he went on to be the highest paid NFL defensive player of all time at one point wit the 49ers ?(long since broken).
