RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

Also, don't forget about the NFL collective barganing agreement that expires next year. There's a lot of talk about rookie salary caps, and being that incoming rookies don't have a voice in the talks, I can't imagine that it doesn't go through.

Forget about the fact that an injury could cost him millions, staying and having a perfect season could cost him millions as well. Just doesn't make sense, and he knows it. He seemed pretty upset when he was pulled out of the game against TSUN. That was not a response that I would attribute to someone that will be running in the shoe next year. It was more the response of a scarlet and grey bleeding Buckeye that just realized he just had his last carry in a place he'll always consider home.

I don't recall Tressel publicly stating last year that either should leave.

I'm not saying he will stay or that I think he should. I'm just saying that getting your hopes up that Beanie comes back isn't a bad thing.

exactly, and Beanie has a hugeass family to think about. he'd be crazy not to go, and is situation is nothing like JL's or malcom's

Never said it was.

it's not a bad thing, it's just a stupid thing. i wish rainbows were made of gumdrops and public restrooms smelled like maple syrup, but that doesn't mean it's going to happen.

if you acknowledge that Beanie's situation is different from JL's and malcom's, why even bring it up? Tressel goes on a case by case basis when it comes to this stuff, so do i.

Stupid to you, ya, but that doesn't mean its stupid to everyone.

Also, why bring up the possibility of Beanie coming back? Well because there is still the slightest possibility it could happen... saying you wish rainbows were made of gumdrops and public restrooms smelled like maple syrup is stupid and a pretty lousy comparison, because those two things could never feasibly happen, but Beanie coming back could in the smallest of chances actually happen, and thats why it is worth bringing up and discussing.

And why the hell would you want public restrooms to smell like maple syrup either?

because maple syrup smells terrific, obviously.

and honestly i think it's a pretty sound scientific assessment to say that the chances of Beanie coming back are about on par with rainbows being made of gumdrops. he's donezo.

i mean, go ahead and get your hopes up all you want. like i said, there's nothing wrong with that, it's just not going to happen. :skeleton:

I won't sully Beanie's thread with the response I had typed...

I don't think it's stupid to want something to happen...no matter how far fetched that something is. Guess you and I are wired different...that's fine by me.

Wait wait wait...I've been listening to the games on the radio so I've never actually seen Beanie run, but no one ever mentioned that Beanie was a half-man half-train stiff-arming cyborg from the not-too-distant future. I guess I should have watched one of those fancy YouTube videos earlier.

Anyone know where I could find a full size image(head to toe and larger size resolution) of Beanie either Stiff Arming someone or doing the Beanie Hop at the endzone? I'm attempting to make a new BG for my computer. Greenies to who ever can find it!
