Beanie Wells never shied (sp?) away from contact. Would love to see Hyde develop the stiffarm of death that Wells made so famous.

I agree that Beanie was a hard hitter but if force = mass * acceleration, I think Mr Hyde may have him on both... but that's a guess. Either way, damn nice to see.

Beanie was at 235-240 his last year here, which is about where Hyde is right now...and Beanie was no slouch in the acceleration department (just ask Michigan and LSU).

Carlos may run harder, but Beanie will go down in Buckeye history as one of the best. What he accomplished with a very mediocre O line was phenomenal.

Actually the 2007 line was pretty decent... Especially in the run game.

Too early to tell with Carlos but he has all the tools, i.e. speed, size, power, and vision to be really something special. He may very well be the first RB under Urban Meyer to gain over 1,000 yds.

I've been touting Carlos for a while and I really believe this is the year he blows up nationally. I'm predicting all conference and a captaincy in his future.

I tend to like when OSU gets a RB that is touted as a high quality FB on recruiting sites. The results this year can't be the same, but future endeavors should be right up there.
