I purposely missed a whole day of classes by spending a whole day shooting guns and getting paid by the Department of Defense at Quantico while I was in college, but my academic counselor wasnt up my ass about it. I've probably slept thru a ton of more classes. Psh, big deal...:tongue2: Bottomline, Smith did not violate NCAA rules. What he did wrong was missing a class. I'd bet my house that Boeckman and Zwick have purposely missed classes too. So what's the issue?

Just to be clear, I'm not trying to single Mili out...he's been rational and logical in his arguments, and while I do not entirely agree, I do see where he's coming from. I was just trying to keep the bucknutesque cliffjumpers off the ledge...Steve19 said:And as I am going to be so far away, please feel free to deliver one for me.
Let's all just be clear that Mili hasn't said that he wants Smith to sit forever. Rather, he is calling attention to the lapses of judgement that indicate leadership issues at a time when Ohio State needs leadership on and off the field.
Mili says that, if reports are true that Smith was not the best quarterback in spring training, this latest episode suggests that Smith has opened the door for Boeckman and Zwick. I don't see the argument with that, given Tressel's comments to the press about "consequences".
Mili goes on to say that, if Boeckman lights up Texas, then Smith may not get in the game. If one of these three quarterbacks is lighting up Texas, why would Tressel feel compelled to put anyone else in? And if he's not, why wouldn't he feel that he should try the others?
Wait a second... are you suggesting that we, the people of BP, can have disagreements and not get all upity and hurt and etc..FKAGobucks877 said:Just to be clear, I'm not trying to single Mili out...he's been rational and logical in his arguments, and while I do not entirely agree, I do see where he's coming from. From what I've heard he's headed for some extremely early morning aquatics...CleveBucks said:Given what Tress said at the presser today about Smith following a "plan" to avoid missing game time, I still feel strongly that Smith starts the Tejas game.
