The Indianapolis Colts tried out three players today, according to a league source.

The auditioning trio included wide receiver/kick returner Larry Beavers, quarterback Todd Boeckman and wide receiver David Grimes.

None of the players was immediately signed, though.

Beavers has a previous stint with the Carolina Panthers.

Boeckman, who played at Ohio State, was cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars prior to the regular season.
