You're forgetting about the mystique of Kyle McCord after the Oregon game... McCord could walk on water during Stroud's 1st 3 starts according to some in the fan base. SO many hated Stroud in his 1st initial starts, until the 5th game(Maryland) and he put on a clinic, did the fan base turn around

I am all in on that. Mostly because I am not on the short list, I was partying in Minneapolis when that first started. And telling fellow OSU fans in the stand to stfu and be patient lol.

How people could say anything in that Minnesota game I have no idea. Pouring rain and first game on the road, at night, and he had multiple touchdowns. Ignorant.

Now the Tulsa game made me a bit nervous but the Defense that game terrified me. People are stupid not much more you can say.

A year later and I completely agree with myself.

This thread needs to be required reading for everyone prior to Fall camp so people can chill the fuck out once the first snap or mistake gets here.

He also hurt his shoulder midway through the Minnesota game.

And that was a tough team on the road at night. Rain and the shoulder injury. Minnesota showed up and we still made it through with CJ making some big plays.

Agreed we almost need to pin these posts for McCord (or Brown if he wins the job) just as a reminder.

I don't remember any pouring rain during the game, just a drizzle off and on. It was clear most of the game
