LB/DB De'van Bogard (R.I.P.)

Any history of other players who have come back from similar repeat injuries to have a successful career? Hate seeing this young man in this spot and hoping there is a chance he can rebound. He plays a position we certainly need depth at and he seems like a great kid.

How many times did Anderson Russell tear his knee(s) up? For some reason I was thinking he went through a couple of major injuries.

NFL DB made a number of outstanding plays the other day.. and commentator stated that this guy tore his ACL three times (same knee) and is still playing at a star level in the NFL

Shows how old I am... in my day... ACL surgery just about cut the leg in half.. the huge Z cut.. at least a year or year & half recovery/rehab... and not many got back to original...

I worry most about fellas that have torn Achilles... that's a tough tendon that never comes back all the way.. and very often reoccurs until player taps out

Excuse me for getting off-topic... but have to agree with NJ there. Achilles is brutal, seen it twice to coworkers in the military. Even at a comparably "low performance" level (we just had to run a timed 3 miles...), it takes the better part of a year to heal and it's never the same.
