The fact that it is the MCL is good news. It doesn't take as much strain as the ACL. The only issue is that it is now an issue with both knees. He's probably done for the season. The only reason he will be on the field again, ever, is if he wants to be. But pro football is not gonna be his future. But he is a person that is easy to root for and expect great things from outside of the sport, if he so chooses.

Edit: (If he so chooses- He might be in line for coaching.

Does he count towards LB or DB depth? Very sorry to hear, but with the amount of serious knee injuries he's had its not a surprise. Get healthy and live a long and productive life.

Boy this sucks... I kinda figured this was headed this way for him on what his 3rd ACL... I hate it for the kid. As others have said .. I hope he's walking away as pain free as he can be and that his quality of life is good.
