Exactly. Nothing that has been going on up there suggests that they are all just going to have a good laugh at a weak NCAA ruling and move on.

If the punishment was really going to be Moore just getting suspended for 2 games, some meaningless probation and a fine, they woulda settled and gotten this over with a long time ago.

Instead they are backed into a corner and just riding this out while spinning the PR machine to create a "its us who are really the victims here!' narrative.

Does Fox have a contract with MLB to always have a Saturday night game? For some reason, I think they do.
Maybe when that contract is up, we can hope for some night games on Fox.
And for the record, I like night games, too. I would prefer that this game be a night game. But I just know that Fox probably knows what they're doing.

Their "media" is all in on the scam with each other, the goal is to to appear to be "shocked" and completely caught off guard when major things come down on them so they can tow the line that the NCAA went against what was supposedly laid out and was deceitful the whole time (which is of course BS) creating that victim narrative

They have absolutely nothing, no real defense to what they did (there is none) so they just keep screaming and repeating every deflection they can think of. These are not actions of a group who know that they "totally did nothing wrong and it will be proven as that".

Everything these bozos do and say is a calculated scheme to try to make themselves look like the real victims when the NCAA comes hammering down on them.

A hundred years ago in my caddying days... the day after the World Series at Firestone South... First National Bank would hold an event for it's monster accounts... and I'd always caddy the PGA or World series then this event with carts... The course was still set up exactly as it was for the World Series... I'd have scratch golfers who couldn't reach the fairway on the 2nd hole.. tee box is a mile from the start of the fairway... There would be as many as 7 layers/levels of rough... and when you were in the real rough, you needed a chain saw... The greens were glass... Scratch players barely broke 100... Pros are a level so far beyond the best golfers we see and know...

I remember when Freddie Couples would play in the 80s... the entire course would tilt as a million of the hottest women on the planet would follow him around the course

His point seems to be that there is a "bigger" cheater out there (gee, who could he possibly mean?).

Could any person with a functional frontal lobe possibly see scUM's cheating as anything less than the worst cheating scandal in the history of the NCAA by a very large margin?

If denial this is, it is a deeper level of denial than I have ever seen in the sports world.
