Ohio State vs. #12 North Carolina (in Atlanta), Saturday Dec. 20, 3pm EST, CBS

Team is competing in spite of a coach who's in way over his head. Completely awful coaching not calling a timeout and letting them turn the ball over when they were fumbling to get up the court. Then no real inbounds play to even try to get a good last shot.
And having Bruce take the ball out at the end guaranteed he didn't get that last shot. Dislike

I want the NCAA tournament so badly, not as a selfish fan, but for Bruce. The young man plays his guts out every game, and has done it four years without ever thinking of transferring. Diebler needs to do better in the last minute. No way we should’ve turned the ball over with 33 seconds on the clock and the inbound.

They did call the timeout though - the refs just missed it. More to the point, if Mobley makes the easy pass instead of dribbling through it, no timeout is necessary.

And it was a good look on that last shot from a guy who was hitting those.

He was trying to call timeout. At some point it's on the players to pass to the open man and make open shots.

White should have thrown it a little farther
The players on the court also have to know they have a timeout if needed. The last few players to touch the ball on that play could have used it. I know the coach tried to call it, but it's harder to miss when it's a player on the court.

The important part, I guess, is they didn't roll over and die when they could have done so very easily.

UNC is a borderline top-10 team and Ohio State took them down the wire. That would not have been the case last year, so, progress? I guess?
