I’m not as convinced as you are about his hiring being a bad one, but there is a nice ring to “17 TE McGee”.

lol

Whether I'm right or wrong, that tweet was just stupid. Unless he's an OL super genius, there isn't anybody we could've brought in to take a Ryan Day-led Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith "tO tHe NeXt LeVeL".

But I'm definitely right

If that becomes a thing, it basically will have secured the failure of the season.

Jamal Haynes 7 carries for 78 yards and a TD. This TD:

This tweet is mind numbingly stupid. We were already elite last year offensively. So bringing in a guy who sucked donkey balls in the NFL is what's going to take us to the "next level"? It'd be one thing if we were average...........we were THE level. There already isn't a next one to get to. Now that we've got 17 TE McGee over here, NOW we're going to be good? Fuck off.

Speaking of Northern Illinois, how are they now in the Mountain West while Sacramento State is in the Mid-American Conference?

That makes almost as much sense as Stanford and Cal being in the Atlantic Coast Conf.

Well, It’s a Small World.

Speaking of Northern Illinois, how are they now in the Mountain West while Sacramento State is in the Mid-American Conference?

There was a crazy HS game in Illinois last night. St. Joseph’s of New Jersey led at Mount Carmel in Chicago 30-0 in the second quarter. Mt. Carmel is coached by former NIU QB and 2013 Heisman finalist Jordan Lynch, and they ran a fake punt from their own territory when down by 30. It started a rally that got them to within 30-28 at the half, and they got a score with about 5 minutes left to win 48-44.

At the FCS level, Cal Poly-SLO hit a TD on 4th and 8 with 9 seconds left to beat Idaho 38-34. I decided to watch that game this morning after recording it last night and it was worth it.

And @Thump, you are correct about Nebraska not losing this week, but they won’t win either.

Re: "a prominent draft analyst"......

Just sayin': I guess after ESPN fired his ass, McShay has to keep saying something (controversial?) to appear to still be relevant (if he ever actually was). He does cover his ass by comparing Sayin to HOF QB Drew Brees though.

3-0 in the preseason and most importantly, nobody got injured.

finally did some research and I don’t think I like it anymore. J can’t help it.

Ruling: SEC can't sanction teams using players with NFL ties

The SEC and commissioner Greg Sankey are not allowed, at least for now, to punish schools if they play a college football player who returns to campus after signing a contract with an NFL team this summer, according to an order signed Friday by a Louisiana state judge...
