2027 OH LB Brayton Feister (Oregon Verbal)

In this NIL world I would love to see a true Iso FB on tOSU's roster. There has to be some 3 star Ohio boys itching to be Buckeyes who could do it.
I wouldn't. He'd hardly be used, and that spot can be utilized by someone who would play more actual snaps. At this point in football, you can use a TE as the blocking FB and be fine. But offenses have changed too much to utilize the true FB anymore, and if a coach were to apply a FB, he better know how to catch out of the backfield, and may even have to split wide. And many HS don't utilize the position much anymore either now. A FB on the field takes one of the talented WRs off the field, or a TE who can do everything the FB can do and then some

Can’t wait till he’s run out of LA.
And the greatest thing is that winning won't prevent the inevitable judgment day. Unless, he's racking multiple Super Bowl championships, the internal aggravation, stress and dislike of him is already building. And like with every other job he's had (including tsun) powers that be will eventually start thinking that it's just not worth dealing with him.

How many national championships has every team in the SEC won in the last 70 years outside of Bama, Georgia and LSU? And shall we broach the topic of who has had to cheat to earn them now that NIL and paying players legally coincides exactly with the SEC not only not winning, but not even making the national championship game for three straight seasons? Finebaum can STFU.
At least 2, Urban Meyer won a couple at Florida (i.e. in 2006 & 2008)?

I remember thinking this after Fields came back in and threw the TD to Wilson. Jimmy looks up at the scoreboard and knows he’s never getting out from under this boot and his entire career is fucked.

Can’t wait till he’s run out of LA.

Maybe that was the play. I don't actually recall which one did it but I do recall that look. You could take that video and sell it as watching a man snap inside, live on national tv.

He had a thousand yard stare quality which was different than his usual "cow chewing it's cud" stare he normally has.

Should semipro/college players be paid, or allowed to sell their stuff? (NIL and Revenue Sharing)

Stanford players are maybe taking the first meaningful step toward unionization.

It's worth the read. They make some good points and it's all very much in the spirit of "make it exist, then make it perfect" kind of view which is the only way all of this gets sorted imo. They also take a slap at Penn State out of nowhere so there is that too.

"There's some legislation going on trying to standardize a lot of the stuff in college football and give us a legal standard. I have a couple issues with it," Umeh said. "College football players should have a voice on the future. They know what works best for them and their teams. I'm not saying college football should be run by the players, but I think the players should have more of a voice."

That is what I have been getting at regarding the proposed bill from congress. The players have no say, it's just the old powers that be trying to still be the only powers that be and dressing it up in language of "good for the sport".

Personally, I don't see why the good football players or basketball players would want to voluntarily join up but overall, this step does have to be taken.

I also still don't see how you lump nonrevenue athletes with revenue athletes but time will tell.
