I mean "home school" is a VERY loose term for him. He's a Haitian kid raised in Canada, he doesn't really have a home school, IMO. I think that's why OSU can win out too. He has essentially no loyalty to TN other than he went to HS there. He has no family there

He mentioned he was offered 10 mill to transfer and somewhere I saw he made 2.5 or something last year. While I don't think OSU matched you'd think they would have to at least up their present number.

We Don't Deserve Dogs

We're getting to the end on our fox terrier. He has some heart disease at age 16 really good overall quality of life still so nothing to do proactively but I see moments where he's a little short of breath and I feel his heart beat flutter on my lap. Other times he's just fine. Its hard to get to this part but I want to be as good of an owner as he's been a companion.

Back in the old days if you lived on the west coast and the game was being played on the east coast you had to settle for listening to the game on the radio because the local channels wouldn't pre empt scheduled programing for a baseball game. Up until the 80's I listened to most all star games on the radio. The first I remember watching on TV was the 1984 all star game in SF when Huey Lewis and the New sand the national anthem.

We don't deserve dogs. Tomorrow is going to be a hard day for me, and it'll be even harder for my son Matthew, and my daughter, Ella.

They grew up with Sophie. Ella was 9 and Matthew was 7 when we got her. She's been there when things have been great, when things have been rough, when my mother unexpectedly passed away. Through COVID and divorces and injuries and stress and everything.

Total love. That's what a dog is....and that's all she ever wanted.

Tomorrow is going to be a hard day.

What Are Your Hobbies?

As always, merge this if it is a duplicate thread. I searched and couldn’t find one, which amazes me.

Next, I figured since I have picked up a new hobby it was time to find out what hobbies other BPers have.

The new hobby for me is tennis. All I know is old people continue to play it, they make it look easy and I am not going to be dominating the circuit anytime soon. It sure does burn the calories though.

Now, let’s see if this thread can stay on the rails:-)

She asked me to help her but was butting in every two seconds to tell me what to do. She insisted that I had to remove the cover from the wall mounted opener when it was obviously wrong. I took it off of the wall, told her to give me 5 minutes, I'm going to watch a video. I Googled it, was half way through the video when I received a text from her for another video. She then came out and asked if I was watching her video. I told her no, I'm already watching this one. She started going on about how I should watch the video that she sent because it was from the Genie site. I finished my video and got them both programmed under a minute even though I had to start over twice with the second one because she kept double checking that I did the first one correctly. In 30 years I've never raised my voice at her but today I came awfully close.
