Remember shit like this when they try and compare the Iron Bowl to The Game.

I love the idea of raiding the MAC. Since the Duane Long days I've heard how OL don't like to leave home, these guys are already local. In the NIL era recruiting shouldn't matter. Spend some of that money and make sure you go at least 8 deep on the OL every year. Raid the MAC for the best few upper class OL every off season. If they learned anything this year hopefully it's spend more on the line.
He could be, he plays against pretty good competition overall and everyone looks like they are in slow motion compared to Brown. Probably the fastest OH kid since Teddy Ball Game and that's no joke. Plus he is not just a straight-line speed guy, he has WR skills...needs development but the potential is off the charts.
4 years worth of revenge, let’s not leave out 2020 when they used Covid as an excuse to avoid a proper ass-kicking.I pray Day gets 3 years worth of revenge on Saturday - beat the living shit out of them
We can only hope> "can be might be correct. but he aint right nowWhoa whoa, he’s only a true sophomore! The kid is still talented. And can still be a great TE.
All those points but he does really need to work on his hands bringing the ball in. Because literally every other skill set is there.
Two other things though. He was wide open on the TD but we've seen guys drop that. So I'm glad for that. Second, that interception was not on him...he wasn't open and it got deflected into a pick.
I only say this because the kid is massively talented and I think will have his moment. There's a reason he's in there.
This and shit. Its not that they're not trying to score, it's important to remember that unsuccessful plays are just as useful for the plan going forward as successful ones.

Absolutely the right comp, imo, if it wasn't The Game.
For the record, I am confident OSU wins this Game but I am skeptical of these 3TD spreads I am seeing only because of hard won experience.
If they have a coach that gets "it", I don't mean is good, I mean that gets The Rivalry, they will be a different team on Saturday than they have been all year.
Just think back to 2012-2014. Hoke, for all his fat fuck failings was washed in the blood of The Game. He took zero dimensional offenses with semi stout defenses and damn near beat us 3 years in a row when the teams had zero reason, on paper, to be in it with OSU.
This tsun team is a zero dimensional offense, a really good DL and an all world place kicker. The rest is a bunch of Iowa level (or worse) flotsam that doesn't belong on the same field with the kind of talent OSU has....except it's The Game and you just know it won't play out exactly that way.
All those points but he does really need to work on his hands bringing the ball in. Because literally every other skill set is there. He's still a match-up nightmare for defenses and this is his first year with major PT. Scary Terry didn't look like a starting caliber WR here for the first few years; now he's one of the best in the NFL. Too early to come to conclusions
I'm expecting this to go somewhat similar to the Iowa game.
