Week 5 Game Discussion Thread

So what to make of this Penn State game.

On one hand you have a white out
but you've got big game James and Drew Allar

Then you've got Oregon who exist to get beat in spots like this themselves.

I'll watch for the lulz but I have no idea what to expect

It's like a resistible force versus a movable object.

Ohio State gonna win by 3 scores on the road against a undefeated team and all the usual talking head clowns are gonna come out to cry that we "looked bad" lol
By talking heads do you mean 75% of our fan base

Plus, the sacks per game fell from 7.0 to 6.75.

And the total yards allowed per game went up almost 2 yards!

If we’re not improving, we’re regressing.

Don't forget Day doing his best Jim Tressel impersonation with the playcalling.

We're going to lose 3-4 games this year easy. Maybe next week.

Before this game, I felt like the opposite was true.

It seems like maybe OSU just decided to sit back in zone and make Williams read the defense and beat them through the air. No big QB scramble plays, no broken coverage for long TDs and absolutely not going to let them run the ball all the way down the field. Williams definitely made some nice throws into the zone e, but once they got into the red zone, those holes in the zone shrank and he couldn’t do anything.

Yes they definitely changed up the game plan for the secondary in this one. We haven't really seen a tissue soft zone D like that all year till this point
