Impending Assistant Coach Vacancies

But he is a former Buckeye who played under Day which is a positive. He was known as an exceptional leader while here too. Hartline didn't have any OC experience before this year either. I'm sure JT has learned a lot from Ben Johnson and I would not be surprised to see him do well hereJ
JT was an exceptional leader but that doesn’t always translate into being able to recruit. Hartlind didn’t have any OC experience but he did have many years of already being on the staff and establishing himself as an elite college coaching/recruiter.

2027 MD DB Raylaun Henry (Texas A&M Verbal)

Couple more CB updates:
5* John Meredith says A&M and Bama lead followed by OSU. Looking to make a spring decision - this is expected, that we're on the outside looking in. I see us taking 2-3 guys ranked between 100-300 this cycle. Possibly stretch to get a top50 guy like Henry (see below). We need numbers more so than spending on star power.

Top-50 CB Raylaun Henry said he’s “150 percent committed” to A&M but could official visit to Ohio State and Alabama during the summer - welcome to modern recruiting. But this is one that I'd love to push for. Teammate of OSU's Khmari Bing.

Ohio State Wrestling (2015/2017/2018 B1G Champs, 2015 National Champs, 2019 National Runners-up)

Birden gets ridden the entire 2nd. Gets two TD's in the third. The last with a second left to win.

Shumate wins 13-3.

Birden / Barbosa final.

Shumate / Cotton final. Cotton over Jude Corea whom I've talked up like I did Geog back in the day. Huge upset in my eyes...

Kilkeary 7th place. Wins 11-1.

If JT wasn’t an ex Buckeye, you wouldn’t even mention him, I could see bringing him back as a position coach, not OC though. Randle El has no college coaching experience as well.
I’m a Bears fan I’ve seen his relationship with Caleb. I hope he stays in Chicago nobody knew Ben either till he got a chance.

Anyone we bring in will likely be a co-OC anyway, unless it's a big name. If a guy like JT is 5 stars at everything other than play-calling experience, it wouldn't be a bad move. We have one of the best play-callers in the game sitting in the office next door, ready to take over if he doesn't like how it's going. I'd rather bring in someone young and bright rather than a Kelly/Daboll type that would likely only stick around for a season. Whoever it is just has to give us the 8 years that Hartline was on the staff.

2027 OH WR Jamier Brown is a Buckeye!!!

Couple UA Game Media Day Notes:
5* WR Commit Jamier Brown tells Wiltfong a ton of schools are hitting up since the Hartline news, and that he wants to get down to TX for a visit - Don't be surprised by news of him taking a few visits this spring. He committed super early and never really got a chance to explore around. I have no worry with him. This is just what happens with Top10 5*'s. Easton Royal, committed to TX, said he's also going to be taking visits this spring.

“I’m seeing the process out. I love the culture, and they make you feel welcome. Everybody there is big on development. I want to be developed into a first-round, top-five draft pick. And I feel Ohio State can get me there.”

2025 Cotton Bowl: #2 tOSU vs #10 Miami-FL, Wed 12/31 7:30 ET at JerryWorld

And if you’re looking for some last minute boosts of confidence, not only is the slot dot their offense revolves around a true freshman, he reclassified and just turned 18 earlier this season (something the announcers mentioned during the Louisville game).

And their QB is a pouty punk bitch who folds under pressure.

The Miami offense depends on a pouty punk bitch QB dumping it off within five yards of the LOS (because he can’t consistently not throw interceptions when he tries to go deep, again, see Louisville game) to an 18 year old for a massive portion of their offensive production.

The Miami run game has been mid all season and stumbled into success against an A&M team that was compromising their run defense to sell out on blitzes to create pressure.

Ohio State’s defense should have a massive, massive advantage against Miami’s offense.

and didnt the majority of their rush yardage in that game come off of 1-2 big runs?
