Texas Tech had a 9-point lead with under 3 minutes to go. They let Florida get an offensive rebound, which they turned into the first of 4 consecutive 3-point makes. Miss a couple of 1-and-1s, then miss a bunch of open shots with a chance to stay in the game & have a 3-minute scoring drought while your opponent doesn't miss from the foul line, and the rug gets pulled out from under you. I think Tech kind of was worn out at the end, they should have been able to make some of those open shots. Gotta credit Florida for hitting clutch shots, too.

Gotta give some credit to the refs too lol there was a point where Illinois was TRYING TO FOUL and they wouldn't call it.

Well it looks like Texas Tech is going to knock off Florida and get back to the Final Four. The Gators would be the first #1 seed to fall this tournament. Helluva performance for TTU in this tournament regardless of how it ends up, but you can see their toughness, strength and speed is impressive. Hard to believe this will be the second Texas Tech Final Four in the last 6 tournaments. Meanwhile, at OSU ... chirp chirp chirp
