2027 PA OL Maxwell Hiller (Florida Verbal)

Potential Big News. 5* OT Max Hiller is down to 4 schools and will take an OV to each. Bama on 5/29, TN on 6/12, and FL on 6/19. He says he will take one to Ohio State, but the date not finalized yet. With the dead period moving up in the calendar this year to after the 6/19 OV weekend now, I'd assume the OV to us would be on the open 6/5 date.
This is our best shot at an Elite OT this cycle. It's notable that he cancelled his OV to South Carolina, as they'd been near his top school for a long time now, and setting an OV to us and not them, nor PSU or ND (who'd both been pushing). He visited PSU the day before he went to visit us last weekend. If he actually makes the OV to us, we have a great shot here.

I saw where Fong had an update about an hour ago about 2 schools tied at the top for Hiller, but Idk which 2.

Bama and Florida.
He’s had a long relationship with Bama, but they just fired their OL coach. And Florida’s new OL coach came from PSU, so he’s known him for years. But Florida is in a rebuild. I think we have a shot if we are willing to pay up for a top tier OT.

2026 Winter Olympics (Milan - Cortina, Feb 6-20)

It's Ohio State versus Ohio State today....ummm Canada v. US. Seven Buckeyes will be on the ice. Winner will get a one or two seed for the quarterfinals. Loser will drop down to the 3 seed, and if the Swedes get the tiebreaker for the 1 seed, it means that Canada and the US will have a rematch in the semis rather than the finals.

TE Grant Haviland will be visiting on 3/28. It'll be a huge visit, as he wants to make a commitment in the spring and only take an OV to the school he's committed to.
It seems like he is Bailey's top option if we miss out on Williams (along with Jaxson Dollar). Ironically, UGA would be the biggest threat to Haviland, but we can land him if they get Williams instead.

Per Gorney, the four schools “emerging” for DT Marcus Fakatou are OSU, Michigan, ND, and UGA. Even with USC is pushing hard and just had him on campus.
We’ll see if we can get him on campus for March or April. LJ just visited him on Friday. He reclassed from ‘28, and I bet his ranking will continue to go up once they do the updates.

New TE name to keep an eye on. Sean Currie from NJ. Bailey offered him a few weeks ago. And looks like he's visiting in spring. Would love to get him. I've been desperately wanting a tall athletic TE since the old Ruckert/Farrell days. It's a shame Jelani didn't work out.

Recently offered TE target Sean Currie will visit OSU on 3/10. He will also take trips to PSU and A&M.
Committed to VA for both football and lacrosse.

Sneaking by the Kings in a slopfest was nothing to write home about...but gutting out a win from 10 down at the end of a trip over Denver showed a lot of guts last night. Hornets/Thunder/Knicks/Bucks are 4 of the first 5 coming back, and the Harden first impression period will be over...will find out a ton about this team by March 1.
