What makes that worse was that it was Myers who dropped the ball, and he has been playing outstanding - particularly his fielding - since the all star break. Just sucks.

None of those 6 runs in the 9th were earned runs because that drop occurred with 2 outs and should have won the game.

As to McClain, he hit the grand slam in the 6th to put the Reds in front. Hitting a 2nd grand slam to win the game would have bought him some goodwill given his poor season.

Just sayin': It really isn't as bad as it initially appears to be. He was at ISU for 4 years and reportedly did graduate with a degree in Communication Studies. He'll only be at Ped State for just this 1 semester; so he just needs to take a couple cupcake classes so he can qualify as a "full time student". I can't see Ballroom Dancing as an online class so he probably won't be pulling a "Matt Leinhart".....
