WR Jeremiah Smith (All B1G, B1G Freshman of Year, B1G WR of Year, Unanimous All-American, 2025 Rose Bowl Off MVP, National Champion)

Absolutely baffles me how Jeremiah has not received the Biletnikoff (sp) award yet. He's done all of it, catches, TDs, YAC, big plays, that you'd want to see in a WR, and of course, helps the team win games, with the 'big catch'. Of course, I have a myopic view of the world, centered around the Buckeyes, and not an all-worldly one. Maybe this is the year?

QB1 Julian Sayin (All B1G, B1G Frosh of Year, All American, National Frosh of Year, National Champion)

And this will be his third OC in three seasons. Cannot see any major changes being made by Smith, probably mostly tweaks, rather than directional changes. Kinda like the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' mode. We always hear, that the TE will get more involved, and we'll do the RPO more, or hit the underneath receiver who's at speed type of things. Maybe the OC will give formations that look like pass, but are runs, and vice versa. Dunno. Just going to enjoy the show. tOSU can/will out talent most of the B10, and hopefully show well in it's only major OOL game, Texas, and then await the playoffs, where the caliber of team we're facing is on the same level as the Buckeyes. Go Bucks

2026 tOSU Defense Discussion

Yeah, seems like the only 'ballyhooing' done is by the Buckeye beat writers. Nothing national that I can see. But lest we forget, Arvell wasn't exactly a household name before his break-out year that saw him go from a 'no-name' to a top 5 draft choice. There's been top flight talent put on the field, and they have pedestrian play, and get replaced by the #2, who goes on a rampage all over the place. Would be alot easier if there were a fool-proof crystal ball with the answer already written. Such is life. Anyone still have a working '8-ball' that gives you an answer when you tip it over?

2027 CA QB Brady Edmunds is a Buckeye!!!

Thought Chip was the stay at home, come visit me type of guy. And guess that getting a verbal from Ryan's son is not the be-all, end-all for NW. tOSU QB room is/will be a bit empty after this year, assuming that Sayin goes pro, and the other senior QB uses up final eligibility. That would leave Tavien and Brady, plus what, 2(?) walk-ons? Certainly, for safety reasons, have another this year, and another next. Always good to have another QB on the shelf, to be opened in case of emergency.

#2 singles: Keegan Rice (Soph)
#3 Singles: Jangjun Kim (Soph)
#4 singles: Andres Santamarta Roig (Fresh)

#6 singles: Mans Dahlberg (Sr)

Just sayin':

1. UVa finished 28-4 and won the National Championship. Two of those losses were to Ohio State.

2. If everyone eligible on UVa comes back next season, they are going to be tough to beat in 2026/2027.

Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 20 Straight B1G Titles)

Login to view embedded media Wasn't sure where to put this. But it's an interesting dilemma for many schools
Re: (When the Hogs initially cancelled Men's tennis) Current student-athletes will also have the option to enter the transfer portal. The Department of Athletics will assist those student-athletes to ensure they find a new program.

Just sayin': When Arkansas cut tennis the players had the option to enter the transfer portal and I believe that some players did.
Anyone know if Arkansas player (#17 ranked and just a sophomore) Jakub Vrba entered the transfer portal?

If he did and still wants to transfer, he would be a good pick up for Ohio State..... Jakub Vrba beat both Alexander Bernard and Nikita Filin this past fall.

Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

I expected this result but flipped. This has to be an all time stinker in a game 7 by Detroit.
It's a real shocker considering the margin and result from Game 6. Pregame analytics said Detroit had a 70% chance of winning this game & they were favored by 4.5. It makes you wonder how did it take 7 games for Cleveland to win this series if they could dominate Detroit like this?
