Go up 3 on a big shot and then back to back empty possessions (sigh)

I was hoping too, but when he had the nice run at the end of the year against(I believe) Rutgers after being relegated to RB4 towards the end of the season. I knew he’d definitely leave, I honestly knew that earlier when West started getting carries over him. I just don’t think he was ready for a lead role at this level and may need to drop down, which isn’t a knock he’s still talented.Just sayin': Yeah, he's undoubtedly the RB1 2026. However, we definitely need a running back (or 2) from the portal to replace Donaldson and Peoples. I was really hoping Peoples would stay; however, that wasn't to be.
Imagine his stats if he had gotten to play more early on instead of staying with Donaldson and Peoples

I was really hoping Peoples would stay; however, that wasn't to be.He's going to be amazing; I think a year of S&C is going to do wonders in pretty much every aspect of his game. He'll get faster, quicker, and stronger to go together with what he already has which is great rb instincts.
To be brutally honest here, I think these guys see OSU going nowhere so they may continue to do what they need to not exhaust a year of eligiblity. just really sad to see how far OSU BB has fallen. They got Ojianwuna to be their interior presence defensively, and he's not going to play. So the team lacks an interior presence. Hard to say why he has not been able to play 10 months post surgery, but with him sitting out this long, the incentive for him is to wait until next year so he can play a full season. Obviously for OSU, they needed him this year. I hope he isn't just using OSU for 1 year before transferring elsewhere like Meechie did last year.

Our unathletic guys who aren’t good down low make up for it by not shooting well from outside. Just a razor thin margin for success out there. I just don’t see it this year. We gained less than we lost In the portal……again. Losing Gayle and Okpara sealed Diebler’s fate. Haven’t made up for them.
