Got myself in trouble one day. Was speaking to a woman who was/is big on NAACP. She was telling me that they were pushing to get more Silicon Valley programmers to be people of color. Said numbers were disproportionate to the population. Said that was interesting, what do you think about doing that in the NBA? She turned and walked away. It's kinda like that in the WNBA. Make no mistake, ALL the players in WNBA are excellent players, heard that about 60% were all-americans. Don't argue with that. But much like the NBA, with Magic and Birdman, they were called 'the saviors of the sport' or somesuch once upon a time. Caitlin Clark is fulfilling that role, proof being the bursting attendances in the games she plays in. Am not really smart enough to tell the difference between racism and playing hard to stop a great player. But until the WNBA can wean itself off the $20 (?) or so million the NBA contributes, would suggest the owners/league be grateful for anything that puts butts in the seats.

Read that with my negative nelly bifocals, and hope Patricia's not getting crosswise with LJsr, as did previous DC. But tOSU has exhibited some great recruiting chops this year, everywhere except DL. Saw this as a kinda sorta thing, like the Bama President telling Nick Saban he ought to run more end arounds.....

Guess never thought of it that way. Did figure that Pantoni didn't spend his time on phone with recruit, seeing as how he doesn't know the intricacies of the particular position, but where missed the rail is that he might/would give the coach all the particulars of the kid before recruit visits, favorite ice cream, etc as background. Thanks for clearing away the fog.....

Take it one more step: anyone who schedules Notre Dame is no longer welcome to play any Big Ten team.
If you were... say... Northern Illinois, would you rather play Notre Dame once every 5-8 years, or play 1-2 Big Ten teams every year?
Maybe that's not the best analogy, considering how Northern Illinois did last year. But change that to Ball State. Or Western Wisconsin. Or Pantyhose University.

The funny thing is that there's nothing radical or woke about Santa Ono. Santa Ono believes in one thing: Santa Ono. JMO, but Carson is a little loose…..just from things I’ve heard…..I think his heart is in the right place but sometimes emotions get better of him.

Seems to have grown up a lot from that experience as well. If he gets his snaps up he’ll be a good one here and the next level.
