2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

No weight at all for the days when scUM was beating teams like Albion, Case, Carlisle & Beloit (sounds like a law firm) to win national titles.
You forgot Ann Arbor High School.
I'm okay starting the count in 1950 or 1951. What's the age of a football fan where you're confident that 99% of fans are younger than him? 80? For an 80-year-old, college football is 75 years old, if he's been aware of it since he was 5. So, that puts the beginning of college football for 99% of college football fans at 1950 or later.
If you want to convince me that anything before 1950 is relevant to anyone more than that 1%, you've got a pretty steep uphill path to climb.

Game Thread tOSU at Washington, Sat. Sept. 27th, TBA

The last time tOSU went to Husky Stadium resulted in a 33-20 Buckeye victory in 2007.

Just sayin': I remember seeing posts/(and a photo...) where you and 3 other Buckeye Planet members were at that game in Husky Stadium. My question is: Was the game atmosphere as good as the video below?

Ohio State considers new $5.2 million Schottenstein Center scoreboard

Ohio State University’s board of trustees will vote next week on whether to replace the Schottenstein Center scoreboard.

The Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday, and a new Schottenstein Center scoreboard is on the agenda for approval. If approved, the $5.2 million project would replace the existing scoreboard, 360-degree ribbon board and any outdated LED boards or signs.

According to the project data plans, the new scoreboard would be designed between June and September and built between April and September 2026. Project plans said the replacement was planned separately from a plan to modernize athletics’ technology to accommodate event schedules at the arena.

The six-month gap between the design process and construction phase will provide time to order materials in advance to ensure installation can be done around scheduled events. The Schottenstein Center’s event calendar only lists performances through Dec. 13, but the space will host the Jonas Brothers, John Legend and Lorde this year.

The Springboro senior flipped Big Ten schools Sunday night

Springboro guard Brynleigh (Bryn) Martin committed to the Washington Huskies eight months ago, but reopened her recruiting on May 12. Sunday night, the shooting guard announced on Instagram that she is now a member of the 2025 Ohio State women’s basketball recruiting class.

The 6-foot-1 shooting guard is the second player to commit to the Buckeyes before the 2025-26 season. Ranked the No. 69 player in the 2025 ESPN Hoopgurlz prospect class, Martin is a strong late pickup in the recruiting cycle for head coach Kevin McGuff and the Buckeyes after Martin won the Ohio Division 1 Player of the Year award.

With Springboro, Martin averaged 23 points, 5.1 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game as a senior. Martin brings three level scoring and a quick release from beyond the arc. The guard brings similar attributes beyond the arc as sophomore Ava Watson, but has more potential inside the paint.
