It’s hard to get more instantaneous than Neimann Lawrence’s answer when asked who his favorite Ohio State quarterback of the Ryan Day era is.
“C.J. Stroud,” Lawrence interjected as the question was proposed at Ohio State’s final one-day recruiting camp on Wednesday.
The 2028 quarterback prospect is early in his recruiting journey but already attuned to the lore of great Buckeye signal callers under Ryan Day. He’s an early name to watch in the sophomore class as Ohio State seeks to extend that lineage.
“For the past five or six years, they've had the best quarterbacks come out of here,” Lawrence said. “Justin Fields, C.J. Stroud, Dwayne Haskins. So just the QB development and the quarterbacks they have helped raise to the next level is definitely what stands out for me.”

I'd say these penalties pretty well align with what we've been hearing in the endless rumor mill & what most feel they deserve (though I'd argue 3 year postseason ban is more appropriate given they tainted 3 seasons with their bullshit). We'll see what it ends up being.

The "lifetime ban" for Cheatin' Jim is kind of laughable because that feeb would never return to CFB anyway. He spent his last 3-4 years up there trying desperately to get back to the NFL. But, I guess they have to slap him with something. It would seal him as probably the dirtiest coach in CFB history. I'm unaware of any coaches receiving "lifetime bans." I can recall basketball slimeballs like Dave Bliss, Donnie Tyndall, Todd Bozeman, and Clem Haskins receiving LONG show cause penalties, but I don't think they were actually "lifetime" bans.

RJ Day’s recruitment is picking up steam entering his junior year at St. Francis DeSales High School. It was easy to see why during Ohio State’s final 7-on-7 tournament of the summer on Wednesday.
Day, who recently added offers from Cincinnati, Purdue and Syracuse to a list that now includes offers from 13 FBS schools, was among the biggest standouts of Wednesday’s 32-team tournament that concluded Ohio State’s high school football camp slate for 2025. The class of 2027 quarterback showed substantially improved arm strength from his previous years camping at Ohio State. His ball placement shined as he accurately fit throws into tight windows throughout the day while leading DeSales to the tournament semifinals.

Day, the son of Ohio State head coach Ryan Day, has already had plenty of success in his first two seasons of high school football. With 2,933 passing yards and 29 passing touchdowns as a freshman and sophomore, RJ is already DeSales’ career passing leader with two more years as a Stallion still to come. He’s worked hard this offseason to keep getting better, and he’s seeing that work pay off.
“From where I was as a freshman to now, I feel like I've made big jumps,” Day told Eleven Warriors after Wednesday’s camp. “Every year you try to focus on different things, and I'm starting to complete that.”

Well he only comes across that way because it's 100000% accurate. He was sitting between 2 very connected people who are good at being "on camera" (quotes bc Nevada still insists on pretending he's a shadowy figure*) and his only contribution was "Nevada....what do you think?".

*also funny that at one point Nevada tried to parrot PremierDrum when he said something to the effect of "I'm just connecting dots, if I'm wrong, I'm out in the open and will admit it". Nevada, you're literally NOT out on the open. You hide behind a black screen despite everybody knowing who you are. Clown.

I just looked up the interview they mention between Scam Webb and Warde Manuel. The relevant part starts around 35:00.

1. Uncomfortable is an understatement. Do these 2 even like each other?
2. Scam Webb is the weasliest looking supposed journalist I've seen in a min. I don't know if I could take anything from him seriously even if he wasn't North Korea's sports reporter.
