This one got hammered down. Breaking through 10 is a big tell. The only thing that makes sense at all is they took some serious sharp money north of 10 and moved it down for that reason.

Now, sometimes syndicates will play the game where they hit one side of a number to give that signal of sharp money so the books will move the line down and then they go 2x or more on the better number but again, OSU being such a big public team negates that. That type of thing is usually done (allegedly) on smaller, less liquid market type games.

Could be a lot of noise signaling nothing but a line dropping from -13 to -7.5 is something worth being aware of. I would not feel super comfortable if I held an OSU -13 ticket right now.

If Ohio state wins by 10 then vegas is going to lose a lot of money. The early sharp money on Washington and late public money on Ohio state will both cash.

Sheer negligence. Moving forward tje defensive output should have absolutely no influence on offensive game planning imo. Establish yourself or ger on all fours and take another fucking at the end of the season; they cannot stand for that.

Not only that but if we are going to go for the repeat this won’t be the last time we play someone good. You can’t just go into a shell at the very first sign of difficulty.

If we play UGA we aren’t running the ball for 200+ to win the game 21-14. You have to be able to throw the ball vs teams with elite defenses. Washington does not have an elite defense and that’s with having played no one that could test them.

Stay aggressive and weaponize having the most accurate QB in the country.

Jury is still waaayyyyyyy out on IU and Cignetti but overall I do think the transfer portal is the great equalizer for programs like IU. It is if nothing else a chance where as before, they had no chance at competing with the heaviest weights

NAME RECOGNITION. The final section in a Skull Session gone long is about a Youngstown State wide receiver named Max Tomczak. You probably recognize the last name; Max is the nephew of Mike Tomczak, who played quarterback for Ohio State and was a member of the 1985 Super Bowl champion Chicago Bears.

Max Tomczak’s name appeared in a recent article from ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr., Matt Miller and Jordan Reid, in which Kiper named him as one of the “risers to watch” in the 2026 NFL draft.

Tomczak is a nuanced route runner, and he recognizes different coverages well. He adjusts on the ball in the air and then has the hands to secure it. And I see the versatility to play outside or inside -- and return punts. I'm hoping to see him at an all-star event against better competition after the season, but he's the type of player who will fight his way onto an NFL roster.

Through four games, Tomczak has 21 catches for 306 yards and one touchdown. The 6-foot, 195-pounder from Frankfort, Illinois, posted seven catches for 116 yards against Towson last weekend.

I wish him the best of luck the rest of this season on what should be a competitive Youngstown State team. The Penguins are 3-1 with wins over Mercyhurst, Robert Morris and Towson and a 41-24 loss to Michigan State. Following a bye week, they face South Dakota State at home on Oct. 4.

Loves how we are utilizing Reese as he envisions himself in a similar role. Also: “I always loved Ohio State,” McGee said. “It was my favorite team, always been my favorite team growing up. I just like the Scarlet. Just crazy.”

B1G Rooting Interests

Try to watch the 'others', but the level/intensity/lovability, simply not there. Sat down to watch Illinois/Indiana last week, but found myself channel surfing to Scifi channel, etc at every opportunity. During bowls always root for B10 teams, but don't necessarily watch them. And when Xichigan plays the SEC in a bowl, root for an earthquake to swallow 'em both up. (without hurting anyone, of course). I've got more miles on me than most of the posters to BP, so these feelings are rooted deeply, but there it is. Go Bucks!
