As long as the defense does what they’re supposed to do, you guys can forget all those wild passing projections lol. We’ll probably get a version of the offense we saw against Texas. Conservative. Hoping to establish the run and hit some underneath passes with one or two deep PA passes a half.
Maybe I’m wrong but we’d better not play that way vs UW or that plays into their hands I think. If the defense shuts these guys down I’d be very impressed. I still don’t expect more than 24 points against but it’s unlikely we can go for 200 total yards and win this one.
We’ll need to keep pace I think and that means staying aggressive. No room for conservative approaches in this one I think. Like I said maybe I’m wrong because I certainly am a lot but I think UW is that explosive.
Can’t afford to bottle them up for 2 quarters but only be up 14-3. Drown them early and force them to abandon their run game.
Good practice for TCUN IMO. Similar teams offensively but UW has a more experienced QB and better skill. If we play TCUN conservative we’ll be playing into their hands. For a team that wants to run the ball with their physical RB you jump them early and force them into something they don’t want to do IMO. In other words you make them play your game not the other way around.
