I'd say they were underrated because they weren't even ranked. If they were an SEC school they'd have been top 15. By the end I bet that's about where they end up. The Bucks are just that damn good

2025 tOSU Defense Discussion

Am from the Super Soph genre, and agree with Georgia Buck. They shoulda won 3 Natty's, except for the 1969 pasting by Xichigan, (still my feeling was worst loss ever) and Jim Plunkett and Randy Vataha's histrionics against Stanford in 1970. More (and better?) pros came from that team, but seems like tOSU of today cobbles together the 'leftovers' (don't mean this to sound so harsh), into a one-and-done team. Guess the NIL and portal make this more of the normal, but still pine for the days where freshmen are taught, trained, blooded, and stay for four years. Anyway, gotta play the cards as dealt. Go Bucks!
