I only see them dead on the side of the highway / interstate in OK and TX.
How many games are they allowed to play and still redshirt in basketball? As in football they can play 4 games and still redshirt, if he plays day the last two weeks and any tournament play could he still redshirt if he wanted to?Noel is not out for the year necessarily, he's in a walking boot due to a foot injury. Obviously they hope to get him back at some point this season, or they would have already had announced plans for surgery or that he's out for the season.
Tilly has a head injury, and Diebler said today that he's still being evaluated as far as playing this weekend vs. UCLA. The word is "hopeful" ... certainly Tilly should be back in action sooner or later.
There is no other big guy that was expected back in January, but you may be thinking of Baylor transfer Josh Ojianwuna, who they have not made any definitive statement on playing this season, they keep saying they are going to make a decision every month about what he's going to do & haven't come out with it, but you would assume since he's waited this long with no word on his return, he's not going to play this season.
I was driving down a two lane road out in the middle of nowhere in Arizona and saw a live badger of all things.I only see them dead on the side of the highway / interstate in OK and TX.
Interestingly, Buffalo players lured both Kent State and Ohio U. players into practically the same deal, (i.e., that Buffalo would fail to cover the first half spread in favor of the opponents). Apparently there were FaceTime conversations that took place to set it up.
I only see them dead on the side of the highway / interstate in OK and TX.not yet at least.
Agreed. Plus, they protect players whose coach leaves in the spring by providing them specifically an out whenever that happens. The other thing is, now teams like OSU will not have the same excuse as last year of not participating in the Crown or NIT because of the transfer portal being open.1 transfer window right after the season ends. Kinda makes sense.
The bowl tie-ins and semesters starting in January for those wanting to join for spring practice make this a mess for football.
not yet at least.No armadillos?
and unexpected.Very big!!
This.I keep seeing people saying that this is not sustainable but as long as there are people winning to pay it IS sustainable. The only way it stops becoming a thing is if the people behind the money start saying no. Maybe the market will eventually have some rollback price wise on these players (especially for the unproven players who seem to be getting insane pay days for having done nothing), but I doubt the big money players at these programs ever just totally stop writing checks. It's likely to only get worse before there is maybe some sort of setback correction.
