Yes it’s a bit short sighted but he did make basketball fun and is willing to do whatever it takes, I guess he’s a good “cultural fit” even though there’s probably someone out there who could win at a higher level

Probably won't get a regular role, but eventually just about every recruited bench player get chances to prove themselves. His role is 3-point shooting off the bench & if he proves capable he could back up Bynum at the 4 & may see some time at the 3 situationally.

meh - Royal isn't transferring due to coaching. He was going to lose his starting spot to a freshman and isn't likely to get paid big in the NBA, so this was a financial decision as well.

In elementary school we called in dodgeball and everyone was in a circle and you rolled the ball but in junior high we called in prison ball and we chucked those red rubber balls as hard as we could
