They may not be a top 5 defense but they are usually a top 10 and practically gaurnteed to be a top 20 barring catastrophy

2026 tOSU Offense Discussion

I don’t even know what to make of that stat. It’s like it’s a completely different team in those last 2 minutes. They can look uninspired and disinterested for the first 28 minutes and then suddenly flip a switch.

162 yards on 37 carries between the Jacksons and West at 4.3 yards a pop against a excellent run defense.

Iowa did what they could with Smith and he still wrecked everyone’s hopes and dreams.

Sayin showed he can hit McCuin when he needs.

I don’t get it today, the run game prevailed today and they forced the issue late.

I don’t know man. Iowa could very well be in the field come playoff time and we smacked them. I’m going to enjoy the night.

Usually I'd want a championship type defense to feel confident. With this offense, I just want to see a Good defense. Right now, I think they're approaching average, and I'd love to see continued improvement. We're still not getting enough pressure on the QBs, which puts more pressure on our backs. And tackling looked pretty bad early, but got better.
