You both know the real reason he got fired: he had uncovered the secret that Joe Paterno was covering for a child molester. With the last of his strength, Tressell started the reactor, releasing all the oxygen trapped in the Martian polar ice caps.
It wasn't the worst movie ever, but I wouldn't take a date to that movie, if you want to score afterwards. 6.5/10.
