He’s a handful but it works for Minnesota

Patricia seemed to adjust a good bit after the first few drives. Saw less of the 5 man fronts with man to man. Instead a ton more regular 2-3 man LBs at regular depth and a bunch more zone.

I’d imagine the answer is somewhere between these two approaches. Have to be able to successfully play man but also can’t just roll that out or teams will just murder you.

Great to see the offensive line finish the game right.

Would like to see the penalties cleaned up because that hurt a few drives for both the offense and defense. Iowa is lucky this wasn’t a 42-10 game.

Just sayin': Yeah, there were some missed blocks, missed tackles, dropped passes, false starts, and bad execution on a few plays; however, they beat the spread with a very good win over a ranked team, etc. Now they have 2 weeks (i.e. a really poor Maryland team and a bye) to get ready for the meat of the B1G schedule.

P.S. and fucking scUM lost too......
