It's so common, but it somehow still astonishes me how stupid football coaches are. Here's what I can tell you - if you go for it, you might get the first down and will hopefully score a TD, or a another FG in a few plays. But, I can 100% guarantee you will lose those three points.

It's a close game against a division rival...TAKE THE FUCKING POINTS, DUMMY!

I just popped in here to say I noticed Luke had a hell of a game as I watched the replay. I rarely notice OL other than on occasion, but he was kicking ass out there. Jakoby was earning some tough YAC but Luke was really his best friend yesterday. Really impressive performance and much needed in that game.

I was under the impression that Whittingham was coaching for the cheaters because it's at the end of his career and he's got a couple truckloads of money from it. No one else would take that job.
Why do they think that firing Whittingham now would make all these other coaches - proven coaches, elite coaches - want to go to Ann Arbor?

I don’t even know what to make of that stat. It’s like it’s a completely different team in those last 2 minutes. They can look uninspired and disinterested for the first 28 minutes and then suddenly flip a switch.

When they use tempo they're basically unstoppable. Some have screamed to use it more to no avail but if you go back to the games we struggled with some actually losing, the up tempo was working or not utilized at all.

I get is a longer season now and we wanted to run fewer plays to keep guys fresh but you can also accomplish this by using tempo, getting a larger lead, subbing earlier and still winning the damn game. I digress

Shipley managed top shoot 67 - 63 - 67 - 68 = 265 (-19) and in a 2 way tie for 11th this week.
I believe that he earned $145,500 this week.

It will be interesting to see if he is in the PGA tournaments the next 4 weeks, they are out of the country:

Whittingham came into an absolutely toxic situation. The program was just smoke and mirrors, and had kind of a thug culture that scum fans have come to enjoy and expect.

That's not Whittingham, and the base of the program are still players from Moore's tenure.
