It should be, but other components like route diversity, predictability and run scheme diversity/frequency are going to matter a lot and I think that’s my concern with Hartline having autonomy regarding the offense.

I have more confidence in Sayin than most - and the surrounding talent is otherworldly. But if you don’t have much pre-snap motion, can’t run AND pass out of every formation and you’re predictable/vanilla it doesn’t matter. I think that’s what we saw under BH last go around so I think it’s reasonable to have trepidation now (not accusing you of saying it’s unreasonable).

I’m not saying he’s incapable, but it needs to be proven. Perhaps he leveraged every second he was able to spend with Kelly when it came to playcalling, preparation and analysis. I’m surprised that question to Hartline hasn’t been posed more commercially.

Just sayin': No, he hasn't signed yet: however, it may not effect the amount he signs for. Team's pretty much have to adhere to the NFL's rookie wage scale as negotiated with the players union. The standard four-year rookie contract for the 36th pick in the draft is approximately $11.4M. Since the NFL could discipline (i.e. suspend) him for this action; Judkins may want his contract structured like the one the Browns gave Deshawn Watson, i.e. "His contract was structured with a large signing bonus and a relatively low base salary in the first year, meaning a suspension in that first year resulted in a smaller financial loss compared to later years of the contract." He actually might have benefitted by not signing yet..... :lol:

During the men’s Final today, a champagne cork fell onto the court between points, I think it was sometime when Sinner was serving in the middle of the third set. You can’t wait until a service game is over before popping a cork? Most games on grass only last a couple of minutes.

If he got out after 5 years, he didn't "retire." He separated. There is a huge difference. And I don't know if it's him inflating his service by saying he's "retired" or just media yahoos saying that not knowing the proper terminology. But trust someone who did retire from the armed services, he isn't "retired."

Tress,Urban and Day are just coaches of my favorite team. Love them when they win but the only guy I like even at 9-3 was Earle.

Just sayin': His 1st year as head coach was undoubtedly his best year. With Woody's players he went 11-0 (#1 in the AP) during the regular season and probably lost a National Championship to USC in the Rose Bowl 16-17. After that he turned into "9-3 Earl".
