Believe so. These NFL guys don't miss too much, and the late rounds can sometimes be stretches (firmly believe that the 'hidden gems' are all scooped up by that time), so why not take a cheap guy that has local roots. Backup material, but did play at a highly ranked school, and did all right. Depth piece for sure, but with what, 53 players, better be of more use than a scout team player....

Columbus Symphony Orchestra wants to build $275 million performance space

Went on golf cruise to Australia/New Zealand for seven rounds of golf. OK, some courses good, one was dog meat, and others were marvelous. Anyway, wifey and daughter wanted me to buy a polo logoed. Sure. Well, on the next to last (one of the better courses), went to the racks to look for shirt or quarter zip. To my surprise, could spend $700 NZ (about $500 US), for quarter zip, and $300 for a polo. Decided didn't want one that badly. Anyway, a guy found the discount rack tucked away in another room, and everyone filled up. On last course, wind/rain so rough the flagsticks were standing at a 45 degree angle. 40 of the 60 decided 'no bueno'. Was talking to the asst pro, and he was lamenting the weather, told him to cheer up, pro shop did about $10,000 worth of business. Yes, bought a Kurai Cliffs polo for $125 US. Bet no one has one of these.....

The message that the NCAA sent was that if you cheat and you're a "cool" team, you can just open your checkbook and everything is cool.
Iowa contacted some guy who I can't even remember his name, and had to vacate some wins.
The cheaters did... well, you know... and they lose the revenue of probably less than one home game.
If you were told that Ohio State could double their chances of winning a championship in the next 5 years if they can raise 30 million, how long would it take for Ohio State fans to raise that 30M in a Go Fund Me? A weekend? Maybe less?

It’s been 20 some odd years of proving that things have changed and OSU doesn’t need tsun, or the B1G for that matter, to be particularly good in order for OSU to be at the top. We control our own fate on that.

Who cares how many people watch it other than OSU fans? It would still be a highly watched game.

The Ohio State brand doesn’t need tsun to be good to draw eyeballs. We would draw them when we played some other good team or in the playoffs.

It’s been 20 some odd years of proving that things have changed and OSU doesn’t need tsun, or the B1G for that matter, to be particularly good in order for OSU to be at the top. We control our own fate on that.
