Despite being on the back nine of the abyss, the two slowest months on the college football calendar are this one and June, which means it's silly season for online engagement.

Pros:
Really cool to play in Bernabeau - one of the planets most legendary stadiums
Week 8 game in Europe likely means Week 9 bye week. I like that! Bye week in the middle of the season is always nice.
Decent mild weather. Cincinnati isn't frigid in November (I live here) but we avoid a cold weather game.

Cons:
I'm so sick of NFL Europe games. This is the fourth time in five years Atlanta has had to go abroad (2x London, 1x Berlin, 1x Madrid)
We lose a home game for this
Miss me with the "grow the game" nonsense. I know why we were chosen. Atlanta host Spain 2x in group play and (likely) 1x in knockout stages in the World Cup. This is some messed up type of international corporate synergy where some knob at the NFL office said "Hey! They'll love the Falcons once they play twice in the Benz! Hate it.

True dat. Everyone's crystal ball works better with hindsight. The future is harder to predict. Measuring heart in a player is also a hard thing to do, but may ultimately be the key to production. And yeah, also believe that tOSU has had a higher percentage of 'hits' than 'misses'.

so apparently 5 for your last 8 isn't enough to earn more playing time with this coach... son didn't start, wasn't in the line up at all, but did come in to catch the last 2 innings, got one AB (fly out). this coach is a clown, ready to be done with this season - 3 more games
