I watched the game and I know we won in all, but it appears others might be thinking what I'm thinking way too early in the season - the "here we go again" feeling that has loomed over the basketball Bucks for far too long. But it's early and we could see improvement with practically a new team on the court.

The bad first - good lord we hate possessing the ball, so many turnovers. That is something that can improve with time. We also don't seem to have any post presence to speak of...most B1G teams are going to have a field day around the rim. Really it was just mostly sloppy play all game in most facets. I hope it's just a matter of a new team meshing, but based on recent years you can't help but feel this team has a cap of being in the middle (or even the bottom) of the conference pack looking at barely getting in the Tourney, and a floor of being in the middle of the pack and squeaking into the Tourney.

The good - Mobley looks improved and one of the transfers looked good (name escapes me). Thornton is a damn fine player with a lot of heart that you hope is contagious to the team.

I'll of course be watching all year, but I don't really see the depth or talent to have a good season. Now please go prove me wrong Buckeyes.

Literally so fast the camera can't even keep up with him. We're going to at least find a niche way to use him right away, but he is actually far more polished of a WR than anyone seems to give him credit for (in addition to a surprisingly large catch radius). It's really not a great comparison but he reminds me a lot of Teddy Ballgame Ginn on certain plays with the sheer speed and instincts.

At the end of the third quarter it's 28-17 USC, although it should be 28-24 except for the interception by Northwestern returned to the USC 2-yard line and then fumbled through the end zone to give the ball back to USC. These teams are not good, at all...

I remember being back in Columbus and Urban hosting a ton of PSU commits he was taking, the headliner being Noah Spence. Love seeing Day & Co. poach off the PSU guys again true to form.
