Yep. Those kinda upsets are really only possible in bowl games where there is im reality nothing major on the line other team could mostly care less (Utah/Bama, Boise/OU)

It's not happening in a playoff. Even if once managed to pull a 1st round upset they are getting blasted by a top 4 seed in the next round

No this shit should be variable, realistically it should be 4 maybe 5 this year. We’re gonna end up with 4 more game like Aggy vs Da U and OU vs Bama. None of those 4 teams belong in the playoffs

Man I still have a hard time explaining what went wrong with Matta. He had it rolling, but stopped getting the dudes who had propelled the program to elite status (except for the 2014 class) and had a ton of top-100 recruit busts.

It pays to be patient - that is, of course, unless you think the program's NIL issues are going to go away overnight and you want to hit the reset button again. Go look back at my posts Ive never once claimed this should be a final 4 or even a sweet 16 team but once again missing the tournament is not acceptable. Ive already game to terms that he's getting a 3rd year but if he goes 0/3 on even making the tourney it's well beyond time to move on. The AD is just accepting stale mediocrity at that point if he's allowed to continue.
