Remember... it was the NCAA, not Ohio State, that said those players could play in the Sugar Bowl. If part of this decision was made because those 5/6 played in the Sugar Bowl then the NCAA is punishing Ohio State for something they sanctioned.

NEVER in history has a school ever been issued a postseason ban for a Failure to Monitor. NEVER. The NCAA gave into the media pressure to "hammer" a self-reporting department, punishing players who did their shit the right way because everyone involved is gone now.
