Well today was an unpleasant splash of water on the last few weeks of high from hiring UM, recruiting news and the hockey and basketball teams.

Remember... it was the NCAA, not Ohio State, that said those players could play in the Sugar Bowl. If part of this decision was made because those 5/6 played in the Sugar Bowl then the NCAA is punishing Ohio State for something they sanctioned.

The one year Bowl ban was a surprise. Realistically, it's just one year and long term is not signficant to the program. Just like if OSU had one bad year and didn't qualify for a Bowl.
We're still The Ohio State University.
We still have Urban Meyer and a great bunch of coaches.
We still have more talent than anyone right now in the Big.

Ohio State Receives 1 year Bowl Ban

along with other scholarship loses... Ugh not what I was hoping to hear today. I hope this doesn't change the minds of the recruits Meyer has been working on the past few weeks.

The feeling bad for the SR's part I'm struggling with. I do not. This stuff was going down when they were Freshman and for several years. To say it was wide spread among that recruiting class would be an understatement. I feel bad for the JR's. Most of this shit happened when they were in High School.

After the initial problems, TP is the only one who did the right thing by moving on and telling the NCAA to fuck off. Posey and Boom just made things wors e.
