Yahoo, Tattoos, and tOSU (1-year bowl ban, 82 scholly limit for 3 years)

I'm assuming the BCS will still include OSU in its rankings next year. It really wouldn't be all that bad an outcome, from my perspective, if OSU rolled next year, finished the regular season undefeated, and ranked #1, and then watched while the #2 and #3-ranked teams played for the "national championship".

tOSU will be in the AP poll next year, but not the Coaches poll, and not in the BCS rankings.

Just like USC this year.

They also tacked on an additional year to the self-imposed probation, Einstein. Don't be [censored]ing stupid. They were going to increase what ever we self-imposed...period. The only reason they couldn't increase our self-imposed bowl ban was because there was none to increase.

Just as I shouldn't have spoken in uncertainties, you should not either. We will never know for sure. But to me, the additional scholly and probation were givens. I do not thinly they would have completely blown up past precidence with a second year ban. That's LOIC stuff right there. I also just never understood after why not just do a self imposed post season ban this year when the bowl was going to be one of the most irrelevent games to be played in osu history and risk any portion of the future.

Sorry for poor spelling and grammar, I'm typing from my phone

No they won't. USC wasn't in the BCS rankings this year, despite consistently being in the top 25 AP.

The NCAA isn't a governing body. It always has been and likely always will be a dog and pony show. Legit governing bodies have punishments laid out for breaking their rules and precedent matters. Not let's make up the punishment on whatever whim or outside pressure strikes us at the moment.
