Just like with every story information will continue to grow as time goes on. After listening to the lawyer it seems his intentions were sincere. He does not deserve the death threats that he is allegedly getting. I can stand the NCAA suspending him for more games as long as it does not involve vacating wins. Another point people seem to overlook is that it was a federal investigation. It might have been illegal for the lawyer or Tressel to reveal what was happening in the investigation.

Every few pages, it's like an echo in here.

No one is overlooking that...but rather folks have noted that it wasn't illegal for JT to go to compliance. And what probably was illegal for Cicero (lawyer) really isn't relevant to JT or tOSU. JT needed to do the right thing regardless if Cicero broke the law in telling him.

Look, I am not trying to make up bad stuff, but page 2, second full paragraph, your University says that to the NCAA. Are they lying to the NCAA now for some double-naught spy reasons? No. Let me tell you, I like Tressel, but I stand with tOSU.

With all due respect Gator, I couldn't give a motherfuck where you stand or whom you stand with. I get what you're doing here, and I know others appreciate it...I'm not one of them. This is a family squabble, and no matter how much I care for a friend, they should stay the fuck out of family shit. Ya know?

I do believe that JT should have done something but take it to the a lawyer at Ohio State first instead of a compliance person. Or at least take it the compliance officer after having another lawyer look over the situation. I haven't read all the pages so I am not up to date on what other people are saying. The key thing is that he should have don something even if it could have been illegal.

This ceased to be a family matter the moment the NCAA got involved.

I'm pretty sure that lawyer violated some sort of ethics law (I know I know, it's a lawyer) when he contacted Tressel and named names.

The Tat-5 tattoos are like scarlet letters to me....

Every time I see them(the tattoos), I think of the ridiculous mess they created.
Every time I see the tats I think about how fucking ridiculous this really is.

We're not talking about some kids selling drugs.

We're not talking about any crimes here.

Hell we're not even talking about kids taking money from boosters.

To paraphrase Allen Iverson, we're talking about tats here. We're talking about two players selling their own motherfucking property for some motherfucking tats. This shit is really hilarious when you think about it.

It just shows how screwed up everyone's priorities are anymore.

At this point, if college sports went away I think we'd all be better for it. I wouldn't LIKE it, and I certainly would miss it, but collegiate athletics are in their dying days as we know them.

Bill Clinton didn't get impeached for getting a BJ - he got impeached for lying about it under oath.

This reminds me of that situation to some extent.

**No intent on going off on a political tangent, just comparing the situations**

Yeah God forbid bringing politics happens. We've had just about everything else.

This summer is going to suck if the NCAA drags its' feet like it has with the Pearl case.

Cover up is worse than the crime. And in this case it's +1000000
