Those that pushed this over the top aren't gone, namely the players who accepted money at the charity event and the overpaid summer jobs.

Many heads will roll for this.

It is fitting that it ended this way. Sad, but par for the course.

Now you can fire Gene Smith.

The NCAA can go fuck themselves for this. They knew what they were going to do a long time ago. And they just wanted to stick it in a little tighter.

This is not USC! We cooperated! All of the individuals involved were punished!

Fuck the NCAA. No more cooperation ever. Let's add two more people to the compliance department and tell them whatever they find fucking sit on it. It doesn't matter if you report. Hide. Obstruct. Piss on the NCAA.

A small, paranoid part of me almost thinks that the NCAA looked at OSU coming out of this with Meyer as the coach and said, "Fuck that, they don't get to benefit from this situation, we need to hit them harder".

I also wonder if, based on him telling recruits no bowl ban was coming, that Meyer was misled before he took the job.

Very disappointing that tOSU is still a member of this corrupt and self-important organization. Mark Emmert can go fuck himself with a Garden Weasel.

Lesson learned... Don't cooperate with the NCAA...Make them actually DO their job and search for findings. Plain and simple. As '513 said (i believe) "now we just tell them to get off our lawn"

Sorry, but I disagree with that. Cooperating with the ncaa is not about a cynical attempt at damage control and minimizing repercussions. It's about who Ohio State is as an institution and a university. It may not have helped us regarding penalties (then again neither did our ad with all his inside contacts), but it was the right thing to do.

To take your path is to take the first step down the SEC highway.
