VA DE Josh Sweat (Florida State Verbal)

With his athleticism, just give him the ball out of the backfield. Odds are, they'll never need a punter again....

But he'll also have little energy for defense, which is where they really need him. Oscar Smith already has a pretty good RB who managed 100+yds against Booker T. Washington. And Oscar Smith is the best team all around in their conference, with the best player in the state

Just had a chance to watch the game..the one knock I do have on Sweat is motor...granted he never came off the field and that had to be exhausting, I definitely saw him taking multiple plays off on defense. Other than that, he was just as billed.

I've seen that assessment on other sites too regarding the game. But all said the same too, he never left the field, even on special teams. That'll take a lot out of a kid. I thought he took more plays off on offense, but then again, after this year he won't be asked to block anymore.

I noticed the lack of motor as well but it was 100+ degrees playing nearly every snap of the game. Not many people are in condition to handle that, especially high school kids.

And I completely understand that and wouldn't expect him to be able to go 100% every play under those circumstances. However, this is the one area most scouts have dinged Sweat on consistently. I'm thinking that likely will be negated when he is only playing DE at the next level. And if he comes here, LJ Sr. will maximize his effort with his rotation system. The main reason I brought it up is because that is literally the only flaw I see in his game.

I'm sorry Alessandra Ambrosio, but that lipstick color is turning me off.
