Peace out Josh. Hope VT is everything you hoped and dreamed it would be. Pro tip: Don't get into an argument with Shelly Meyer.

If we're including rumors, here's one saying that's not 100% true:Peace out Josh. Hope VT is everything you hoped and dreamed it would be. Pro tip: Don't get into an argument with Shelly Meyer.
OK, I have to chime in here. Alex is correct, Shelley Meyer DID NOT get "into it" with Josh Sweat.
Josh had a guest that was openly pro VA Tech and Shelley addressed it with that individual directly. Unfortunately, that individual was not easy to deal with and caused quite a little scene. Afterwards, she explained to Josh that tOSU liked him, wanted him there, but his guest had to be dealt with.... he was upsetting many of the coaches' families that were sitting near him. Josh was not, as Alex put it, "externally cheering" for Va Tech.
Either way, I doubt this bodes well for our chances. Rumor aside, our chances of landing him anyway were about 1%.If we're including rumors, here's one saying that's not 100% true:

Five-star defensive end Josh Sweat begins his trio of upcoming official visits this weekend at Georgia. And while all four schools currently remaining in the hunt for Sweat (Georgia, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Florida State) are optimistic, confidence is definitely rising the most in Athens. Sweat has kept a close eye on all four schools this fall and has come away extremely impressed with the defensive schemes the Bulldogs have been running. He has also become very comfortable with the coaching staff and has been very much looking forward to this visit for a couple of months now. I'm still thinking that he stays closer to home and picks the Hokies, but this weekend will be an enormous opportunity for the Bulldogs to further impress him and one recruit who knows Sweat a bit told me he thinks UGA will be the choice.
