Nothing like that ever happens to Southern schools except Miami. I will say that Jimbo will have a difficult time replicating the success he's had with Jameis once he's gone. He'll have talent. But you have to have the quarterback.

That's true. The 3 or 4 they have coming in this year don't appear to be difference makers. Malik Henry could be a good one, but that's a couple years from now. They'll have to rely on Dalvin Cook for the next couple years and pray he stays healthy after James, Greene, & O'Leary all leave.

With how terrible the ACC is, FSU should be fine for a while, they have more talent than any other team in the conference, and that right there will keep them ACC champs for the foreseeable future. Clemson also poops the bed in big games, GA Tech does the same. The rest of the conference is just mediocre and all take turns being above average at best. Duke for Christ sakes won the coastal last year, and GA Tech this year. A lot of weapons returning and more coming in. FSU will be in the playoff alongside OsU for the near future
