The Walking Dead (Official Thread)

I believe the catalyst was watching Aaron take a beating. Rick wanted to jump in and help aaron but was forced to watch. Im sure there are alot of reasons why rick wants to go to war. But Negan and his merry men last visit to Alexandria was the last straw.

I doubt killing Holly Hoggins and Spencer are the reasons he said enough is enough.

Kind of forgot about that scene but yeah, I can see that. Aaron is actually one character I really like and a really good actor...hoping they keep developing him more.

Michonne whistling "The Farmer in the Dell" while laying a trap for N enemy? I don't think Omar Little is going to take too kindly to someone stealing his schtick.

And exactly when the fuck did the show go all Shawn Michaels with everybody losing their smile? One snarky joke about it is fine, but twice in the same episode? Also evident from last nights show:

Aaron's boyfriend is about to take a dirt nap. Bank on that.

The guy who plays Simon should stop all attempts to act like Negan. It's enough when JDM overdoes it, but at least he's colorful about it. Simon sounds like he is forcing poop through a Caprisun straw when he is trying to be funny.

Cursing rarely adds to a moment significantly, but Rositas line would have been soooo much better if she could have said "We fucked the same dead guy. Don't mean we're friends."

I really like Michonne, but the pillow talk after they got back in the car was, to be kind, forced and misplaced.

Morgan is now officially annoying AF

There were several cringe worthy lines last night. The dialogue is just awful lately.

Agreed. I can suspend belief in certain action moments due to the underlying premise, but if the dialogue is shit, it's much tougher. The leader at Hilltop was almost unbearable to listen to. I'd say the dialogue is as bad as Diehard, but I'd hate to insult Diehard like that.

That being said, King Ezekiel is awesome and one of the lone new bright spots to the show. I love his diatribes.

I think the show is going to get interesting again but tonight was not really much to get excited about.

I'm not trying to hate on this show....but "show him the up up up"? It's the zombie apocalypse, not a hidden tribe of lost boys from Neverland.
My God, the up up up might have been the worst dialogue in the last 15 years on a TV show. Jesus that was awful. On the flip side, I really enjoy Pollyanna McIntosh's work, so I hope she can somehow lend a bit of credibility to the role. The rest of the episode was also bad. Darryl let's Carol keep playing house. Morgan has no sack, cheesily leading up to the eventual unavoidable Rambo moment. The kid Eze E is mentoring is clearly going to die, which is what will get the Kingdom in the war. Good God. And Rosita is now an annoying assed (though still hot) bizitch. I guess there was a glimmer of hope in the evolution of Gabriel's character, and now Tara is in a tough spot with the Oceanside. But short of that, this was garbage (no pun intended) and next week is a JDM cheese fest with Dwight and Eugene.
