Yeah the more I think about it, the more that bothers me. It's been something like 2-3 years based on what I've read. You don't just forget how to speak that quickly.

Regarding the really bad CGI on the landfill behind Rick:
That's the only reason they said they wouldn't do it.I think the flying things in the green screen background were supposed to be birds (it's a dump). But if it really was a plane it would be funnier.
I'm thankful Rick hasn't lost his hand (yet) or they'd have to blow more of the budget for CGI.
This last episode was terrible, it looked like a middle school film projectYeah, I know.
I do look forward to the next green screen/paper background though.

"Well, I was gifted these pickles." - Eugene
Maybe the best line I've heard on TWD in a while (and also...That's what she said.).
I actually dug most of this episode. The actor playing Eugene did a fantastic job, and because of his earlier deceptions to survive at any cost, there is doubt as to which side he will end up on. They also tried, at least, to develop Dwight and wife a bit with some backstory, even though Deights turn is inevitable. The doctor thing was a spot monkey moment again, and that's the problem I had with the episode, because like most spot monkey moments it made no sense. He didn't say enough to piss of Dwight that much. Eugene never claimed to be a medical doctor. And Negin having that much trust in Dwight made little sense either.Haha I was thinking the same, I laughed so hard. While this felt incredibly authentic and makes me like Eugene more and more, this is crawling at a pace that I cannot stand. I guess I learned something about the Saviors and what they do, but the lack of Lucille has been pretty disappointing to me.
And just real quick...wtf with throwing the doctor in the fire? That was the the most fake thing I have ever seen.

Yeah, I get that structure...but they already betrayed him and walked out once. Yes, they came back, but something about a ruthless and self-pragmatic leader believing it could never happen again rubs me wrong. The only thing I take issue with is the Negan trust in Dwight. That inherent trust, usually through fear or force (ie iron to the face) is entirely what Negan's empire is predicated on. Therefore, Negan can't envision a scenario where someone high up on his hierarchy would betray him. He even said as much when describing how Dwight has no motivation to lie.
