Ratings are at their lowest since Season 3.

Saeson 7 is yet another season where the first half of the season has our main characters in it like twice - yay. You would think with it being the most watched television show on cable they could afford 8 episodes out of the main cast. Such fucking ignorant bullshit. No wonder the original show creator didn't see eye to eye with AMC execs.

gee, there is this big pile of sand here for no reason. I think I'll just dig around and see what happens. Then i'll empty my clip and throw the gun away instead of using it to pistol whip zombies in the head.

one more thing. Have they just abandoned the original premise of getting scratched by the zombies gives you a fever and you turn? If not, then all the zombies left must have had manicures right before the apocalypse started.

Wow, so I understand they are trying to get to "the comics" but Jesus did they make Coral look stupid (even stupider than usual). And what's with all the Rambo storylines? Not just Coral, but Michonne, Rosita (who has gone full hot bitch mode...is she going to screw Eugene or split his head open? Because both are stupid options)...and Spencer. If that fucker doesn't die in the mid season finale in a way that makes Colonel Crawford look like he died in his sleep, I don't know how much longer I can go. They have really backed themselves into a corner with the comics, because they are so far ahead of where the show is. If they are just going to reproduce the comics on screen, then drop all the boring shit and just get to it already. If not, then deviate enough to keep people guessing. Either way, what they're doing isn't working.

I don't know if it's the actor from a previous role, or something else.....I'm just tired of the Negan character. Where's the off switch on the schtick with him? I know I'd get tired of saying "well look at you" every time somebody didn't immediately bow down to me every single time they saw me.

This week's "Carl" episode was, at least entertaining.
Negan doesn't "need" extra muscle as he's all about the psychological intimidation of his subjects. That's way more intriguing than a baseball bat with barbed wire. Negan believes he's smarter than his subjects but needs to constantly prove it. It feeds his ego.

I thought this week's episode was pretty good personally. The Savior compound is interesting and of course Negan has him some wives...I had wondered how we had not seen any of that yet. I also found the Coral/Negan dynamic pretty interesting, as well as the psychopathic ability to hold Judith and appear normal.

Oh and Darryl still has his tongue, so there is that.
