Somewhat agree, I like his snark to an extent but this is going to get repetitive really quick. Also...Alright....I'm tired of this Negan [Mark May] and I'm only halfway through tonight's episode.

WTF was that smoldering thing at the end? An alien ship? Couldn't tell at all.
I am really trying to like this, I really am. And it's not like they have done anything "bad". JDM and the guy who plays Dwight have done a good job. The fact that Rick and Darryl are broken and racked with guilt makes sense. The fact that others like Rosita and Michonne want to fight does too.
So I don't know, I guess it's a combination of things. I understand they have to establish things, like what happens when the Saviors come calling. But did they need an extended episode for that? NEGIN needs to be an attraction, like the Undertaker or Brock Lesnar. Show up once in a while, maybe when it appears things are looking up, just to beat them down again. But this is too much. The snark is overdone, even forced, in some spots (in others it is brilliant). And Spencer is getting a bigger role, and he just has change the channel heat from me. I don't want to see him, I don't want to hear him, I want to stop watching every time he appears. Plus without Darryl doing anything and without Glen and bitchnuts (still loved that one), some of the more interesting characters are simultaneously gone. And replaced by what? Spencer? Which guy Carol is going to fuck? Maybe Jesus and the Hilltop can save some of this...but again, NEGIN overkill. I don't know, I guess we'll see how it goes.

I am in agreement on most of these points, especially Spencer. His character could actually be decent but I think he is a [Mark May]ty actor honestly. If he meets Lucille, I would be cool with that.
As for the rest, I do agree the Negan intimidation was a little over the top but as tsteele mentioned, likely the point. I felt pretty deflated and a little drained after the episode, but I think that is supposed to be the feeling the writers want you to feel. Like there is no way out and that you are just going to get bullied for the rest of your life. But to your point on the characters themselves, the show definitely is less interesting without Abraham and Glenn, at least in Alexandria (plus the Darryl non-factor). Alexandria has been decimated over the course of the last 1-2 seasons between the Wolves attack, the zombies breaking in, and now Negan...you lost Marilyn and her husband, blondie and her two kids (and her abusive husband), Denise, Abraham, Glenn...and parts of that group are fragmented now (Darryl, Carol, Morgan, Maggie, etc.). So for now, I think Alexandria is going to be fairly boring.
Out somewhere, rumors are that they may reveal the next big antagonist group on their travels...but that's a rumor.where is Tara and Heath?
