That's funny you've penciled in Gibson leaving but not Heyward. I'd assume that Heyward would leave before, and honestly they'd both be gone. I know Heyward said otherwise and thats a nice thing to say during the season, but all analysts have him rated higher than Thad. With that being said, does anyone see Floyd also being a hybrid player like Heyward, playing inside and out?

Wow! That would be great! I'm not trying to be a pessimist but it's hard sometimes to comeback and pass up that NFL money, especially with rookies not nearly making as much next year because of the new cap for rookies! But Thad and Cam back would be huge, let's hope they're working on getting Floyd here too. We'll definitely have room for him and Hankins to step in and get some significant PT in year 1!

Gibson is gone. He's already told quite a few people that he's leaving after this season.

Demand for lineman Shariff Floyd takes off - USATODAY.com

Obviously, we all know better than to rush to any conclusions regarding recruits and their choice of gear, but here's a little story on Mr. Floyd.
And just for kicks...when I opened up this article my 2-year-old was sitting on my lap. After already seeing dozens of other players' pics she pointed at Floyd's picture and said "Buckeye." Talk about good omens. LOL! :oh:

Floyd focused on championships now
By Phil Kornblut

Recruiting is the last thing on the mind of DL Sharrif Floyd (6-3 311) of Philadelphia right now. This Saturday his Washington High School team will play for the city championship. With a win, Floyd's team will then advance to the state semi-semi finals. So, he's put little thought into the recruiting process according to his adviser Andre Odom. "There's nothing new," Odom said. "He hasn't given recruiting any more consideration." Floyd has taken official visits to Florida, Southern Cal and Ohio State, and he's been to Penn State unofficially. He is scheduled for an official visit to North Carolina December 11th but that date is not locked down due to his playoff schedule. USC also remains invovled and recruiter GA Mangus is in regular contact. He's expected to visit Floyd in early December once the visitation period begins. Floyd is expected to set an official visit with the Gamecocks at some point.
